We also take the necessary measures to ensure that all our managers and

at info@blissnic.com as soon as possible. Please also see our Terms and
Conditions of Sale for more information.
7. Website Information
We and/or our service providers collect the IP (Internet protocol)
addresses of all visitors to our Website and other related information
such as page requests, browser type, operating system and average time
spent on our Website. We use this information for statistical purposes
and to help us understand our Website activity, and to monitor and
improve our Website.
Our Website may also use a technology called “tracer tags” or “Web
Beacons”. This technology allows us to understand which pages you
visit on our Website. These tracer tags are used to help us optimize and
tailor our Website for you and other future visitors to our Website.
Our Website may contain links to other sites that we do not own or
operate. We provide links to third party websites as a convenience to the
user. These links are not intended as an endorsement of or referral to the
linked websites. The linked websites have separate and independent
privacy statements, notices and terms of use, which we recommend you
read carefully. We do not have any control over such websites, and
therefore we have no responsibility or liability for the manner in which
the organizations that operate such linked websites may collect, use or
disclose, secure and otherwise treat your personal information.
8. Cookies
Our Website uses a technology called “cookies”.
What are cookies?
A cookie is a small data file that is placed on your computer or other
device to allow a website to recognise you as a user when you return to
the website using the same computer and web browser, either for the
duration of your visit (using a ‘session cookie’) or for repeat visits (a
‘persistent cookie’). Other similar files such as clear GIFs, beacons and
pixel tags work in the same way and we use the word ‘cookie ’in this
policy to refer to all files that collect information in this way. Cookies
can also be used in emails you receive to help understand your level of
engagement with them.
Cookies can be ‘first party ’(which are set by us) or ‘third party ’(which
are placed on your device by another web application).
Cookies are a common technology for remembering certain information
about a visitor to a website. The vast majority of websites currently
make use of cookies and they are commonly used for a wide range of
tasks. This includes the use of Browser cookies, which are cookies set
via your web browser. We use browser cookies for the following
purposes:
• Strictly necessary cookies. These cookies are necessary for our
Website to function and cannot be switched off in our
systems. They include, for example, a cookie that is set for
security reasons or to remember your cookie consent
preferences. They are usually only set in response to actions made
by you which amount to a request for services, such as setting your
privacy preferences. You can set your browser to block or alert
you about these cookies, but some parts of our Website will then
cease to work.
• Analytical cookies. They allow us to recognize and count the
number of visitors and to see how visitors move around our
Website when they are using them. This helps us to improve the
way our Website works, for example, by ensuring that users are
finding what they are looking for easily. All information these
cookies collect is aggregated after it is collected. If you do not
allow these cookies we will be unable to measure traffic to our
Website and unable to monitor its performance.
• Functionality cookies. These are used to recognize you when you
return to our Website and to embed functionality from third party
services. This enables us to personalize our content for you, greet
you by name, remember your preferences (for example, your
choice of language or region) and to integrate useful services
provided by third party providers into our Website e.g. maps and
social media features. If you do not allow these cookies then some
or all of these services may not function properly.
• Targeting / Advertising Cookies. These cookies may be set
through our Website by our advertising partners. They may be
used by those partners to build a profile of your interests and show
you relevant adverts on other websites. They do not directly store
personal information about you, but are based on uniquely
identifying your browser and internet device. If you do not allow
these cookies, you will receive less relevant advertising
How to control and delete cookies
If you wish to restrict or block the cookies which are set by the Website
you can do this through your browser settings. The ‘Help ’function
within your browser should tell you how. Alternatively, you may wish to
visit https://www.allaboutcookies.org/ which contains comprehensive
information on how to do this on a wide variety of browsers. You will
also find details on how to delete cookies from your computer, as well as
more general information about cookies. Please note that, as the
allaboutcookies.org website is not owned or operated by us, we are not
responsible for any of the content on it.
Third-party cookies
We also use and work with a number of third party suppliers and
partners who set or read cookies on the Website. The third-party cookies
used in connection with the Website include:
• Analytics cookies. We use cookies to help us collect information
that allows us to analyse web traffic to our Website. The
information collected via the cookies is sent to a third party
(including Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics) that operates
analytics tools which we use to analyse the information collected
and improve the Website’s performance. For more information on
Google Analytics, please visit “How Google uses data when you
use our partners' sites or apps”, located
at www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/.
• Embedded third party content. Some of the content on our Website
is provided by online services operated by third parties on our
behalf. When you visit a page containing content from one of these
services, a cookie may be set by the relevant third party.
9. Email tracking
Some of the emails we send to you may contain a ‘web beacon pixel ’or
tracked links which allows us to identify when you have opened the
email and to verify which links contained in the email you have
accessed. We use this information to determine which parts of our
emails are of most interest to you in order to better understand your
preferences and tailor future communications to you.
You can delete the pixel by deleting the email. Some mail readers have
settings to toggle whether or not they automatically download images. If
you turn off the automatic download of images, your mail reader will not
download the web beacon pixel and we will not be aware that you have
opened the email messages.
Alternatively, you can unsubscribe from our mailing list by accessing
your account, contacting us at info@blissnic.com or clicking on
“unsubscribe” within one of the e-mails.
10. Your rights
We recognize that it is important to keep personal information accurate,
complete and up-to-date and we take reasonable steps to ensure the
accuracy and completeness of the personal information we use and
discloses. However, you are responsible for informing us at the contact
information set out below of any change in your personal information
which may occur during the course of our relationship.
You have the right to request access to your personal information which
is in our custody or control, subject to limited exceptions prescribed by
law. You can also request that information which is inaccurate or
incomplete be rectified.
We will respond to every request for access and rectification, in
accordance with applicable laws. In the event that we cannot provide
access to or rectify your personal information, we will inform you of the
reasons why, subject to any legal or regulatory restrictions, and we will
provide you with any recourse available. We may request certain
personal information for the purposes of verifying the identity of the
individual seeking access to their personal information records.
11. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may make changes to this Privacy Policy from time-to-time. We will
post updates on the Website, and where appropriate, notify you about
material changes by sending you an email with the modified terms or by
posting a copy of them on the Website. Any changes will take effect on
the date on which we post the modified notice on the Website.
12. How to contact us
If you wish to contact us with any queries or concerns about this Privacy
Policy or the manner in which we or our service providers (including our
service providers outside Canada) treat your personal information, or to
request access to our collection of your personal information, please see
our Contact Us page or email us at info@blissnic.com
